Anirudh Krishnakumar holds a PhD in Neuroscience with an emphasis on Interdisciplinary collaborative frameworks for Mental Health Citizen Science, through the French National Institute of Health and Medical Research (Center for Research and Interdisciplinarity, Université de Paris) and the MATTER Lab, Child Mind Institute, New York, USA.
From 2017 to 2018 Anirudh was a Study Coordinator for ‘Effects of Non-Computerized Processing Speed Training’ Study at the Child Mind Institute, New York to evaluate the impact of cognitive training interventions with group-based board games to specific mental health deficits. During his fellowship, Anirudh will prototype a Citizen Science Data Collection Platform & App for use across different scientific disciplines and user scenarios.
One of Anirudh’s research interests is to redefine libraries as centers of Citizen Sciences and to enable different interest groups to jointly develop projects in a more open environment of scientific inquiry.
